Review I absolutely loved this story! Such a unique plot, very different from anything I have ever read before. Angela Page is a brilliant satirical writer and is not afraid to push the envelope. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style; colorful comments, drama, and some indecent language to drive home a point, all add to the wit and charm of the story. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not to my liking... By Grannieg I received this book for free as a Read and Review. I am glad it was free. I did not enjoy the story line. It was not a light hearted take on heaven and deceased spouses working in the lives of their earthly family. I did not enjoy the use of the "f" word. I felt it was not necessary to the story line. Even if heaven is managed and run by a committee...I do not think there would use this language and be so focused on sexual relationship. Just was not my idea of a good book.

By Cory Speece Not having many life experiences to draw on for comparison, I was a bit worried I wouldn't connect with the characters or the story. Angela has done a wonderful job of keeping me captivated throughout the book. The storyline is unique and Angela's use of wit and playfully dark humor is woven through a subject matter that could otherwise be awkward or difficult to read/process. The various tangents and subplots of this book come together incredibly well and offer up a few surprises towards the end that left my jaw open with shock.Overall, this genre is not my go-to for casual reading, but I greatly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to a friend.

I think the premise was good, but it didn't seem to flow well in the novel. I never really connected with any of the characters. The characters never seemed to grow or learn anything. Also, the characters seemed inconsistent. Overall, it was an ok read, but nothing to write home about. Thank you to netgalley for a copy of the book.
