This is the 4th collection of short stories released by Warren V. Pope. The author is a retired New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) sergeant and he recalls his experiences as a cop. The stories are meant to stand on their own, and as such, are not told in chronological order. The author believes the arrangement of stories makes a more interesting reading experience. "Eyewitness to Foolishness" follows in the steps of "Growing up in Blue", "...from the bottom of my City", and "Man's Best Friend". The stories run parallel to the author's serial novel, "Running from the Police".

About the Author The author is a native of New Orleans who has survived all kinds of disasters, from the New Orleans Police Department, several divorces, and Hurricane Katrina. He's the proud father of a son, Warren, and a daughter, Victoria. He's presently a licensed electrician that's presently driving a taxi cab.

Anyone looking for insight into the daily challenges of modern police work, and particularly NOPD, SHOULD READ HIS WORKS. I continue to be amazed at his grasp of every day police work, including the humor, difficulties and issues dealing with rank, the public and city administration. Can't wait for his next book!!

After reading the book, I feel like I was with Mr. Pope during his crazy adventures of misfortune, misunderstandings, and the occasional bit of luck. I would recommend this book to anybody looking to be entertained.
