3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great, Fun Read By Amazon Customer I truly loved this book. It is a fun read! Perfect for relaxing after a stress filled day at work. I know the area and the author got it so right. The characters are likable with realistic attributes. The book had just the right amount of twists and characters, so it was easy to follow yet not too predictable. This kept it a page turner. I found the dialogue and thoughts amusing and the occasional facts of living in hurricane riddled Florida interesting. The mention of a "hurricane turkey" made this transplanted Floridian decide to make her own "hurricane turkey" the next time a storm rages my way. Thanks, Jens Mitchell, this is a home run. My only question and concern is, "When is the sequel coming out?" I will be the first to read.

By joes Make yourself a drink, get comfortable, and settle in for delighful mystery as Teddi Penn and Sam Copper manage to make themselves crazy, while being attracted to each other, fighting off a mutual attraction while at the same time trying to figure out what exactly is going on with the other. This is a sexy book, not in a risque way. Ms. Mitchell knows how to combine sensual with the comic, to illustrate the real tension between two people trying to maneuver a perplexing attraction. And there are some pretty funny interludes as well.Besides the growing attraction between these two characters, there is also a mystery, gripping on its own, along with an interesting and well written cast of characters, with Florida itself playing a supporting role.Do yourself a favor and read this book. I guarantee you'll never look at chocolate and hand mixers the same way again. Now read it to find out why!
